The Clinic's Inspiration

& inspirations for why I do this work."
-Destiny Cox, PhD.
Prayer of St. Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
And where there is sadness, joy
O Divine Master, grant that I may
Not so much seek to be consoled as to console
To be understood, as to understand
To be loved, as to love
For it is in giving that we receive
And it's in pardoning that we are pardoned
And it's in dying that we are born to Eternal Life
In October 2010, Destiny approached a group of her closest friends to share her idea of the S.O.U.L Clinic. Mark Badget was a friend who had a mind for business and advised Destiny she would need Articles of Incorporation, By-laws, standard operating procedures and a business plan. Destiny explained to Mark she was not skilled on any of those documents and did not want to be the one in charge, rather she wanted to be the foot soldier in the field helping those in need. Mark agreed to take on the position of Executive Director and Destiny would work as a case manager / peer support specialist.
With the help of Mark and four other friends the S.O.U.L Clinic of Kentuckiana Inc. was born. Tragically in November 2011 Mark passed away of a heart attack and the board of directors called an emergency meeting to appoint a new director. It was determined that the organization was owned by Destiny and she was the only one remotely qualified to take the office of director and did so.
Since that day Destiny has managed the organization independently and continues to serve those in need. Destiny currently loves the job as a leader and a helper to those in need and is grateful that the organization has continued to grow and provide such an invaluable service to the community.
In 2022 The clinic rebranded from S.O.U.L Clinic of Kentuckiana Inc. to Reunion & Reintegration Services Inc. (R&R) to narrow our focus of service to veterans of the United States armed forces, first responders and their immediate families.
